Life Recovery

Yesterday was the European X-Mas Day, also known as St. Nick’s Day. And lo and behold, I received my Life Recovery Bible in the mail, through an amazing online ministry offering Bibles to those in recovery (like me!)

And so, I did a cool thing … and worked a lot on my site today. What I accomplished was setting up the 12-step pages, as well as a course and then setting up the modules for the course. At first, I figured I could sell it for $12, but then thought better of it and decided to leave it at $0 … as in … free. I might ask for a paid service later, but for now, I just want to see how it goes.

In a weird way, I learned a lot from my thesis in grad school, and don’t want to repeat those mistakes. So that’s why I think it makes the most amount of sense right now to make this free. Also, I truly believe that recovery should be free. So there’s that, too.

For now, I think this looks good! I might adjust the branding later, but I think it looks pretty good at the moment.

I’ve decided to limit this to women in recovery, following Biblical-based 12 steps.
