A New Way of Being Through Experience

Dearest J,
I’m currently working through a few different programs.
This includes:
And yeah, it’s a lot.
But I am proud to be legally ordained :) This was the final of my posting about it:
9.11.2024: It's official – I'm legally ordained! You can laugh, but it’s true! Reverend, Pastor, Chaplain – whatever title, it commemorates a decade of spiritual healing. My journey has led me to merge wellness with technology and reach new skies. Beyond my work as an innovation design director and creative career coach, I run an anonymous digital recovery ministry for religious abuse survivors. To honor the ministry's 1-year anniversary, I've decided to get ordained!
While being hospitalized in an isolation unit 10 years ago from a rare illness, I experienced toxic spiritual trauma from a nurse. After processing that experience, I've followed a path of love over fear, started my dream studio, and began exploring a loving higher power of my own understanding. Since then, I've combined my creative and wellness pursuits, from launching a mindful e-startup at NYU to creating humane tech at Google.
Celebrating a year of digital ministry (launched coincidentally on 9.11.2023, the day after completing my freelance work with Google!), I’m excited to have gotten legally ordained and remain committed to helping others. I've recently joined a virtual monastic order and am studying with renowned spiritual leaders, integrating their insights into my work supporting others in recovery.
Having lived near NYC on 9.11 and later in the Financial District overlooking the memorial’s construction, and been ‘saved’ unexpectedly on 9.11.2020, this date continues to hold deep significance for me. It serves as a reminder of the destructive power of religious extremism and the importance of transforming harmful faith into healing faith. I’m grateful to serve and continue blending creativity, compassion, and technology for a better world. Thanks for reading!
This said — I am also considering returning this blog to the original design, which was much more “sophisticated” and less informal. However, I still enjoy this font … so we shall see. I guess, at the end of this day, this blog is for me. Not others. But I sure hope it does help others along the way!
This is the current aesthetic:
